Neelam Nigam is a prominent political leader and social worker associated with the Indian National Congress. Coming from a family with a rich political heritage — her father, Madhu Shrivastav, served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly which made Neelam inherited a deep commitment to public service.
As the founder of Mission Smile Foundation, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities. From facilitating over 60,000 Aadhaar and Ayushman Bharat cards to organizing free health camps and employment fairs, her work has touched countless lives.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Neelam led extensive relief operations, distributing food, medicines, and essential supplies to affected families. Her Sarwan Yatra initiative for senior citizens reflects her compassionate approach to governance.

Born into a family deeply rooted in politics and public service, Neelam Nigam draws inspiration from her father, Madhu Shrivastav, a prominent political leader and long-serving MLA since 1995, whose legacy in public life laid the foundation for her leadership journey.
She pursued her academic journey with a strong focus on social development, completing her graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and later earning a Master of Social Work (MSW), strengthening her understanding of community needs and public service responsibilities.
In 2016, she founded Mission Smile Foundation, marking the beginning of a structured approach toward social welfare, community upliftment, and impactful grassroots initiatives.
Since 2016, she has actively led campaigns facilitating over 60,000 Aadhaar and Ayushman Bharat cards, along with organizing health camps, rozgar melas, and extensive COVID-19 relief operations, impacting thousands of lives across communities.
